Role: Manufacturing Engineer - Pharmaceutical Industry

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Plymouth, MN

Position Overview :

The Manufacturing Engineer ensures the efficient and compliant production of pharmaceutical products by optimizing manufacturing processes, maintaining equipment, and supporting quality control in line with GMP standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Process Optimization : Improve production processes for efficiency, yield, and safety using Lean and Six Sigma methods.
• Equipment Maintenance : Design, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Quality Assurance : Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and EMA regulations; develop SOPs and maintain batch records.
• Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve process issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaboration : Work cross-functionally with R&D, QA, and production teams; train staff on new processes and safety protocols.

Key Skills :

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g., batch production, aseptic processing).
• Expertise in GMP , FDA regulations, and pharmaceutical product lifecycle .
• Proficiency in automation , process control systems , and CAD for equipment design.
• Experience in Lean , Six Sigma , and root cause analysis techniques.
• Excellent communication , problem-solving , and project management skills.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, or related).
• 2+ years in a pharmaceutical manufacturing role.
• Six Sigma certification (preferred).
