Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Mossville, IL (Onsite).


Typical task breakdown:

• Collaborate with service engineering and customer facing teams to solicit and gage customer feedback on product quality concerns.
• Lead cross functional teams encompassing L3-L5 design controls, product support and customer facing team members through the DMAIC CPI (Continuous Product Improvement) process to introduce production and service part solutions on time and on cost.
• Engage customers, dealers, suppliers, team members, and other business units in assessing and communicating project results.
• Lead and maintain Power bi dashboards that are utilized for monitoring quality trends

Technical Skills

• (Required)
• Project management/leadership experience with a strong ability to manage multiple projects and effectively lead teams through effectiveness, velocity, and cost tradeoff analysis to make the best business decisions and solutions for our customers.
• Data analytics experience (Power Bi, Tableau, etc.)

• Great interpersonal, teamwork and collaboration skills
• Strong communicating skills with experience communicating to senior leaders.
• Attention to details and the bigger picture with ability to drive teams to key timeline milestone decisions.
• Experience with quality systems
• CPI Master or Master Black Belt Certification
• Engine Design or development experience
• Supplier relationship management experience
• Technical validation experience (DFMEA, DOE )
• Six Sigma Black Belt DMAIC
• Master's degree (or equivalent) in an accredited Engineering or Data Analytics disciplines
• Master's degree (or equivalent) in a Business Administration (MBA)

Education & Experience Required:

• Engineering or equivalent technical degree Associates or bachelors
• 2-4 years experience required.
