Job Overview

We seek an experienced Tridium Project Manager to lead the execution of high-performance building automation and control system projects in the commercial mechanical construction sector. Based in San Jose, CA, this role focuses on delivering seamless Tridium Niagara system integration with HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building automation, BACnet-compatible platforms, and project management within the mechanical and controls industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managed the full project lifecycle for Tridium Niagara-based building automation systems, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Designed, developed, and implemented BAS solutions for commercial projects, integrating HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems.
  • Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and vendors to streamline project execution and ensure all systems meet client specifications and industry standards.
  • Oversee installation, integration, and commissioning of Niagara-based control systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and optimizing system performance.
  • Maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation, leveraging tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Project for reporting and coordination.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in building automation project management, focusing on Tridium Niagara and BACnet-compatible platforms (Distech, Alerton, Johnson Controls Metasys, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of HVAC controls, DDC systems, and energy management strategies.
  • Proficiency in system design tools like AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Revit, with experience in creating submittals and system schematics.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Local and stable work history, demonstrating long-term commitment and reliability in the industry.
