Job Title: Licensing Assistant

Location: Lower Manhattan, New York (5 days onsite)

Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Licensing Assistant to join our team in Lower Manhattan. The ideal candidate will have a professional demeanor and the ability to represent the company during client lunches. This role involves managing the approval process for new consumer products, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring accurate communication and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the approval process for new consumer products from concept to completion.
• Coordinate with internal departments to manage approvals and communicate feedback effectively.
• Ensure all submissions and resubmissions are accurately entered into the system.
• Assist the licensing team with daily business management tasks.
• Provide PowerPoint or design samples with resume submission.
• Participate in client lunches as needed to represent the company.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and perform well under pressure.

Requirements:

• 2 or more years of experience in a licensing or similar role.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Google Slides, Quickbase, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience working with licensor portals, particularly Quickbase.
• Excellent communication skills and an engaging personality.
• Ability to provide detailed, concise answers during interviews.
• Must be able to work onsite in Lower Manhattan, New York, 5 days a week.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
