Job Description

Optomi, in partnership with a leader in the energy sector, is seeking a Workstation Administrator to support and maintain critical laptops and workstations used by Engineers and Gas Control & Planning (GC&P) control technicians. This role requires up to 50% travel across service territories in Michigan to ensure secure and efficient workstation operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot hardware for laptops and workstations
• Manage hardware/software inventory and oversee asset & change management
• Create and manage workstation images for seamless deployment
• Administer workstation accounts and handle patch & vulnerability management
• Provide on-site end-user support for control technicians
• Develop and maintain standard work instructions

Qualifications:

• Proven workstation administration experience
• Strong hardware maintenance & inventory management skills
• Expertise in asset & change management
• Experience creating & managing system images
• Willingness to travel extensively
• Excellent end-user support, documentation, and communication skills

Bonus Skills:

• Working knowledge of Qualys
• Familiarity with Ivanti
