LevelUp Consulting is a civil engineering, planning, and landscape architecture consulting firm seeking a senior transportation engineer to lead our roadway and transportation practice. Candidate will initially support our land development projects while building a team to pursue public work. Candidate should be capable of all aspects of design for roadway widening, intersection improvements, and auxiliary turn lane projects, including but not limited to, roadway layout, grading & drainage design, pavement striping and signage.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead and expand our roadway and transportation practice in the local and surrounding markets with the ability to build a team and acquire public sector work.
• The position will be responsible for engineering design tasks and as the department grows will move into a role of marketing, client engagement, and focusing on the growth of the department while still being actively involved with design issues.
• Responsible for roadway improvement projects required as part of our land development projects.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college.
• PE license in the State of Florida
• 10+ years’ experience on roadway projects
• Experience and relationships with local agencies and municipalities
• Experience writing proposals and scopes of work
• Ideal candidate will have experience in AutoCAD Civil3D so roadway projects can be fully integrated with the on-site land development design and plan sets.
