Position Overview:

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing construction projects from inception to completion. The role involves coordinating all aspects of the project, including budgeting, scheduling, quality control, and client communication. This position requires a highly organized and results-driven individual with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate resources, contractors, and team members to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of site supervisors, operators and laborers. Ensure that all team members are aligned with project goals and safety standards.
  • Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control. Review financial reports, and make adjustments as needed to stay within budget.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work is performed to the highest quality standards, adhering to safety regulations, project specifications, and client requirements.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations. Provide regular project updates to stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that arise during the construction process, from design changes to unforeseen challenges.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental, safety, and building codes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing civil construction projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully completing large-scale infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management tools, and relevant software (e.g., MS Project, Procore).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
