• Travel: minimal, 1-6 times per year

Job Description Summary: This position has responsibility for managing a cryogenic Air Separation Unit (ASU). The Plant Manager will be responsible for all manufacturing, safety, training, personnel, maintenance and other activities as required to ensure high quality of product and customer satisfaction.

• Complies with Regulatory Requirements. Maintains and complies with all necessary licenses and permits.
• Operates the Plant Safely and Reliably. Ultimately accountable and responsible for site safety including employees, contractors, visitors and neighbors. Meets or exceeds company safety standards. Demonstrates strong safety leadership and commitment.
• Owns Key Operating Documents. Maintains updated red-lines at all times. Displays detailed understanding of content and significance of each document.
• Develops and Leads People. Models exemplary safety behavior, leads by personal example.
• Manages Costs. Understands, monitors and optimizes operating costs within authorized budget.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work on-call nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Occasional travel required – typically 1 to 6 trips per year

Preferred Qualifications

• Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree
• 4 to 10+ years process industry experience, equivalent combination of education and experience
• Air Separation plant experience
