We are thrilled to take the next step in our mission with the opening of ilearn wellness group’s evening Intensive Outpatient Program. ilearn wellness group is a new adolescent day clinic. Operating as an affiliate company of LearnWell, ilearn wellness group will use the 27 years of experience LearnWell and Comprehensive Counseling have accrued to create a caring atmosphere centered around strong clinical programming to support the whole patient.

Job Description:

We are seeking a licensed clinician (LMHC, LICSW) to join a multi-disciplinary team in an evening IOP. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys collaborative teamwork, is experienced in using evidence-based practices including CBT and DBT, is adaptable to the needs of patients in an IOP, is confident in a fast-paced environment, and can lead groups of up to 12 adolescents.

Location: 199 Wells Ave, Newton, MA

Hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday on site from 4:30-8:30pm. Flexible schedule for administrative hours - daytime or evening!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct clinical intake assessments and assess appropriate level of care for new patients
• Lead 3 hours of clinical groups weekly including CBT Skills, DBT Skills, Psychoeducation, Social Skills, and Safety Planning
• Provide case management for patients enrolled in IOP including collaborating with other providers, making referrals, and developing treatment plans
• Obtain authorization from insurance companies for treatment services
• Conduct individual and family meetings as appropriate during course of treatment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians and mental health technicians, in addition to collaboration with ilearn wellness group’s PHP and Outpatient staff for continuity of care
• Complete all clinical documentation in an electronic health record in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, accrediting bodies, and other governing organizations.

Benefits/Salary:

This position has the opportunity to be 15 or 20 hours a week, based on candidate preference. If the position is 20 hours a week, we offer a generous package of paid time off including vacation time, sick time, and holidays. Position is $40/hour salaried at 15 or 20 hours a week. We offer an additional evening shift differential pay.

Qualifications:

• Valid MA license LMHC or LICSW
• Master’s in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
• 3 years experience in a mental health setting
• Experience with adolescent population preferred
• Knowledge of IOP setting and experience with intake assessments
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
