Job Description

This client is a boutique investment bank specializing in innovative solutions for the healthcare and technology sector. They are specifically looking to bring a senior analyst or junior associate on to their Life Sciences Royalty Monetization team. This team is dedicated to to transforming groundbreaking research into valuable financial assets, partnering with prestigious Ivy League institutions and top-tier research organization. In this role the candidate will work closely with the MD to facilitate the sale of active royalties from renowned academic and research institutions to major pharmaceutical companies.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Managing Director in identifying and evaluating potential royalty monetization opportunities.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and due diligence on royalty streams.
• Prepare detailed financial models and valuation reports.
• Support the preparation of marketing materials and presentations for potential buyers.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction processes.
• Monitor market trends and provide insights to enhance our royalty monetization strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, PhD) preferred
• 2-4 years of experience in healthcare related financial services
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Passion for the life sciences sector and a keen interest in royalty monetization.
