Intern-Community/Government Affairs:
As a Community/Government Affairs intern, you'll be involved in a range of activities that will help foster connections between the organization and the communities where we operate. Your key responsibilities will include:
Building Relationships: Engaging with community members, stakeholders, and organizations to understand their needs and maintain positive, long-term relationships.
Event Planning & Organization: Assisting with the coordination of community events, which may include logistics, promotion, and follow-up. You'll help ensure the smooth execution of these events and assist with any necessary preparations.
Media Creation: Supporting the development of various types of media content (such as social media posts, newsletters, blogs, or video content) to promote events, highlight community initiatives, and raise awareness of the organization’s work within the community.
This role will provide valuable hands-on experience in community engagement, event coordination, and media creation, all of which are essential skills in building strong, supportive relationships between organizations and the people they serve.
