Fincantieri Marinette Marine, a Fincantieri Marine Group Company, is a progressive shipyard specializing in building ships for the United States Navy. We currently have an opportunity for an EHS Technician I at our Marinette, Wisconsin location. This will be for A or B shift.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible is to monitor, train, and enforce EHS policies and procedures, while coordinating various compliance activities. This position develops, coordinates, and assists with training on applicable EHS programs, policies, and procedures. All functions, duties or tasks are to be carried out in an honest, ethical and professional manner, and to be performed in conformance with applicable company policies and procedures. Additional duties may be assigned, and functions may be modified, according to business necessity.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee's workspace is in a clean and comfortable climate-controlled setting with little to no exposure to the moving equipment, elements, extreme conditions, or risk of injury. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. When entering the shipyard, the work environment is not climate-controlled and there is exposure to moving equipment, etc.
