Commercial Project Manager Job Description

Our client is seeking a Project Manager with a minimum of five (5) years of commercial construction project management experience to oversee corporate office and retail interiors construction projects throughout the Charlotte MSA. Candidates must possess a unique combination of leadership and communication skills, construction expertise, as well as a successful track record of managing commercial interiors construction projects.

Job Requirements

A minimum of five (5) years of similar commercial construction project management experience on jobs ranging from $300K to $5M.

• Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction, Construction Science, Construction Management, or similar preferred
• Strong financial management skills including accurate budget forecasting and a demonstrated ability to deliver projects on-time and within budget
• Experience with the entire life cycle of a project
• Proficient with conceptual estimating and takeoffs
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven ability to understand construction documents
• Proficient with Procore and other software routinely used within the commercial construction industry
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to interact well with senior management, clients, vendors, subcontractors and field superintendents
• Self-motivated, customer-focused and detail driven
